I've always struggled with friendships, I've often found that I'd end up just seeking romance as the be all and end all for my needs, because I don't really know how to maintain normal friendships. I drafted all of my posts on here recently because of some recent eye opening developments, that took me right back to how lonely I felt when I first began writing this piece years ago. I forgot for a bit, that writing is my best tool to navigate my feelings. I’m glad you were able to find comfort in this, that’s the main reason why I wrote it! It is extremely long, and I hadn't even realised until I was about halfway through how much I needed to say and how many characters it would take. I was worried that because it was on the lengthier side nobody would take the time to read it, or would half-arse it and I'm so grateful you've proven me wrong. Because I've been writing this since I was 17, and felt this was for as long as I can remember I put so much of myself into it and I'm glad it came across well and you enjoyed reading.
